A common mistake new bloggers often make is using their blog to talk about problems and vent about daily annoying occurrences. Some folks might leave sympathetic comments at first, but once this becomes habit it's likely to turn readers off. People can hear negative gobble-dee-goop all over the place - on their nightly news, from their friends, family members, boyfriends, girlfriends, community goings-on, everywhere. Most people read blogs to get uplifted, inspired, to learn about things that are fun, funny, interesting, awesome, hot, cool, etc. People would prefer to not spend their lunch, coffee or any kind of break reading about another's problems. They want an enjoyable escape from every day life, so remember, it's best to be a happy smurf whilst blogging. :)
