I feel like one can never get enough information and tips that will give us
ideas and ways to effectively run our sweet cottage businesses, so I have
5 tips that I really hope will be helpful to you. Here ya go. :)
1. Host an after-hours product party or weekend get-together for your
friends and relatives.
2. Think partnerships. Team up with a non-competing business in your
area to offer a package promotional.
3. Create a calendar for customers with your shop's name and address
on it.
4. Include customer testimonials on your website and in your printed literature.
5. Send newsworthy press releases to various media outlets whenever
you have new products, events, services, etc.
