This is something I came across last night in my travels. It's a "test" on several women whereby a psychologist administers a "beauty patch" to them and the results that ensue as a result of said beauty patch.
This video rendered me thinking/feeling a host of things. My first thought was simply, wow! It's saddening and heartwrenching how much self-hatred there is in these times we live in. Beautiful human beings of every kind of beauty, who, because of societal messages and pressure, constantly find ways to dislike themselves. It's truly a tragedy, but kudos to Dove, for bringing this issue to light and as a result have changed and updated their brand in the process.
