This illustration was inspired by the amazingly awesome, friendly, welcoming, progressive, funky, inclusive, connective, crunchy, hippie, organic, ultra bohemian, down-to-earth, artsy, craft mecca that is Portland, Oregon. I made the raindrops colorful because like everything in Portland the rain is even happy and friendly. (lol)  I don't know why I made her face so calm and serene rather than ecstatic, because this girl, like all Portlanders, is overjoyed to be living in PDX!
