DIY Nuggets: Alternative Christmas Trees

I have a real appreciation for atypical, unusual, bohemian, hippiefied, funktified, quirky, out-of-the-box things. Maybe it has to do with being a total diy-er, a recycler AND an artist...or maybe not.

Whatever the case, I reeeeally love alternative Christmas trees and love all the different styles that people come up with. So on this lovely Christmas Eve 2013, I'm going to leave you with these wonderfully creative alternative Christmas trees.

And who knows, perhaps next year, you might want to try your hand at making your very own super creative, diy, holiday tree.

As you can see, I also have a penchant for all things old, countrified, vintage, used, worn...and just junk. I luuuuuvv junk, I love the word junk and I love turning junk into treasured treasures. (lol)

Upcycled Pallet Christmas Trees

I'm also appreciating this palette tree because I love palettes! I dream of going about the land with a truck (that I will one day have for this very purpose) and collecting all the palettes I find on the street and storing them neatly in my studio and ultimately make a multitude of cool projects as they come to mind.

I also think this one is very cool, because again, it has the old, vintage feel that I love. I do believe I would add a pop of color to this one though.  Anyhoo, enjoy! :)
